Every datapoint on DePIN.Ninja can be traced back to onchain data (via Dune queries) or offchain data (via project APIs). Offchain metrics are flagged as “unverified” given the lack of auditability. Onchain queries are publicly-accessible and often need to be adjusted following protocol changes. If you believe a data feed is outdated or incorrect, please suggest an update.
In general, DePIN.Ninja takes a liberal interpretation of onchain data. Revenue and its derivative metrics (i.e. ARR, revenue multiple, issuance coverage) represent gross network activity, more akin to GMV than net revenue. Active node metrics are self-reported, and generally include nodes that participate in consensus but are not providing or consuming actual services. Market Cap is based on our best estimate for the current circulating supply of tokens, without taking into account future dilution. In the future, we will launch DePIN.Ninja Pro with access to a more robust set of metrics including net revenue, node retention, forward-supply curves, growth-adjusted valuation multiples and more.
All rewards are paid from the contributor rewards pool on Base. Contributors must verify their Coinbase account via Onchain Verify before claiming rewards from the pool. Upon doing so, rewards are claimable as soon as contributions are approved by an administrator and merged into the main branch of the DePIN.Ninja repo. You can track the status of pending contributions and the history of past decisions directly on Github.
